I like old fashioned hard fudge. If it's as hard as coconut ice, all the better. Not teeth-breakingly so, but firm in texture. I can't buy coconut ice in stores anymore. Even in supermarkets I don't see it. It's all gone online. Do American supermarkets stock coconut ice?

I haven't seen it in any supermarkets so I guess if you really want it you'll have to buy it online or make it yourself.

I make my own. Similar to my ganache(which is my grandma's recipe)-but firmer of course.

Thanks for that. There are some interesting varieties on Etsy. Quite funny - while browsing the small pics of coconut ice on offer, I liked the look of this one below. 'Coconut Ice 20g DK Mini.' Swirls of coconut ice! Never seen anything like that before. But just 20g? Didn't sound quite right but I clicked on it. It's actually yarn. Bah A lovely set of minis - the colours complement each other really well and have a subtle warm undertone, I think they'll look great combined with warm neutrals and greys!

Fudge is a treat. Too rich for my system, it's always wonderful, a small bite or hidden in a scoop of ice cream, delicious.

I like fudge (walnut is my favorite), but only one or two pieces per holiday season. Just too rich and sweet for me.

I love the old fashioned chocolate fudge, not the kind with marshmallow cream. My favorite is peanut butter fudge. I had never heard of coconut ice, so had to Google it. Sounds good and looks pretty!
