Adding in tarathian123's votes... 8 votes Marnie, 8 votes Stage Fright, 6 votes Frenzy, 6 votes The Birds, 5 votes The Paradine Case, 5 votes To Catch a Thief, 4 votes MWKTM '56, 2 votes Foreign Correspondent, 1 vote Suspicion. Anyone care to explain why he or she chose Marnie? It's one of my favorite Hitchcocks, so I'm just interested.

That seems better. 15 points allowed in total. Perhaps 4 selections minimum I voted Marnie. I don't think I've ever seen it. If I have I don't remember it, so it couldn't have made much impression on me anyway.

I should write a rule that, from now on, you're not allowed to vote against a movie you haven't seen. If you did see it and it made no impression, that's fine, but please only vote against pictures you've seen!

SalzmankMarnie: I didn't like how Mark patronizes Marnie. OK, she is a liar and a thief, but an adult woman, after all. No need to treat her like a child.

Adjustment required. I've removed my 1-vote entry for Marnie, and added 1 point to Frenzy.

I think I've got it right now. I wonder if someone will break the four-way tie for second. If not, they all go under the rule we articulated a while back. That's one sure way to speed up the game, but it may be a bit too quick.

Maybe not a bad thing. There's still a fair way to go.

Sorry about that last vote, I was moving my votes around at the last minute and forgot to change that 5. Marnie is an interesting film on many levels but not something that I would consider great, it is good and we are starting to chip away at the good films now- something's gotta give, I remember Tippie Hedren's performance very well but not a thing about Sean Connery's? So it is not a completest film, just very interesting- or maybe just for those who like to 'watch' Hitchcock.

I was intending on starting Round 6 at 9 tonight, when this round closes, and keeping it open till 12 noon tomorrow, and then starting Round 7 right afterwards and having it go till 9 again. Does that work?
No worries about the last vote, and thanks for your comments on Marnie!

If it's now a rule that you can't pick films you haven't seen then:
5. The Paradine Case 4. The Man Who Knew Too Much 56 (That kid!) 3. The Man Who Knew Too Much 34 2. Rope 1. Frenzy
