Just been informed One Legged Den has died... A lovely local old fella on our estate. Liver and kidney failure caught up with him... He requested no funeral or wake. He was a huge Bob Marley fan, so I've been spinning this for him instead... RIP |

Do you remember the 'Bullshit Detector' albums brought out on the Crass label in the early 80s? Compilation albums of demo tapes and the like from DIY punk bands... Some of the tracks on them were pretty good. When I was a youngster I used to wear a Crass bondage jacket, tartan jeans, and 10 hole DMs, occasionally rotated with blue teddy boy crepe sole shoes. Crass live at Stroud Marshall Rooms was some night. |

Never got to see them sadly so I envy you that. 5000/ Stations/ Penis Envy stand up strong to this day and I must get my vinyl copy of "Christ" out and give it a spin again. Some good stuff came out of the "Anarcho" scene. |
