I always thought that white chocolate was kind of a misnomer. I'm not trying to be funny, I just assumed that in order for something to actually be chocolate, it had to have cocoa in it. Yeah, no cocoa, just cocoa butter. It's not technically chocolate. But the cocoa butter makes it taste sublime nonetheless. I do like the white chocolate. Though I'm probably not the chocolate fan that many people are. I think my favorite form of chocolate would be chocolate pudding, and by extension chocolate cream pie. Now coconut is an entirely different story!

I'm not much of a sweet eater. But I do enjoy a fruit cobbler of any type with a scoop of ice cream.

I too picked ice "cream" (non-dairy) as my first choice, but I was really torn between pie and cake as a second...so I went with cookies. I chose pie as my second because I've never met a pie I didn't like. I probably actually prefer pie to ice cream, but for the sake of the scale I don't indulge regularly.

I knew ice cream would land on top! It IS good! I know this is super boring and generic (and some might even call it blasphemy), but I think my favorite kind of ice cream is the plain old vanilla that you get at Dairy Queen. And I think they call it "ice milk". You can do so much with Vanilla ice cream., though. I love it with some cherry pie filling on top. In summer, fresh sugared strawberries. Your sugar pie sounds like custard pie they sell here. I LOVE pie. Pecan is probably my favorite with strawberry rhubarb a very close second.

Ice Cream = Mint Chocolate Chip (although I haven't had it lately as I am now lactose intolerant).
Pie = Cherry, with Apple a close second.
Cake = Chocolate. Used to go to a store in London, ON quite a bit for cupcakes that were out of this world. However, they sold the business. The product just wasn't the same with the new owners.
Cookies = Oreos or Rainbow Chips Ahoy.
Chocolate = I used to get chocolate-covered almonds all the time, as well as chocolate-covered peanuts. There were also chocolate-covered ju-jubes offered. I think the chocolate would drown out the flavour of the ju-jubes, though.
Candy Bar = Hershey's with Almonds or Coffee Crisp. Mind you - I have been purchasing any and all kinds of king size bars. My nightcap is to have half a king bar with some chips and a beer.

I just assumed that in order for something to actually be chocolate, it had to have cocoa in it. Here ya go ..... White chocolate is a chocolate confection made from cocoa butter, sugar and milk solids. White chocolate does not contain cocoa solids, which are found in other types of chocolate. It is characterized by a pale ivory color. The melting point of cocoa butter, the only cocoa bean component of white chocolate, is high enough to keep white chocolate solid at room temperature, as with milk chocolate and dark chocolate. As I recall, "white chocolate" is just the pure fat from chocolate. It's mixed with chocolates for fondue for dipping with fruit to make it cling better..

What is a sugar cream pie ? Is there another name for it that you know of ? I made a sugar cream pie for some friends and they had never even heard of it. I am from Indiana, but was living in Chicago at the time. One of my friends dubbed it "hillbilly creme brulee"! That's actually pretty accurate. It has the consistency of custard. Yum yum! I just know my Grammy made it a lot. She was an excellent cook! I've seen people talking about sugar cream pie on boards before so I googled it. There seem to be different kinds or at least different colors of filling. They look tasty though. Is a sugar cream pie comparable to any other pie you've had?

I love white chocolate, especially milky bar. Can't get enough and I can get one with mini smarties in it too here.
I love ice-cream, but chocolate is more easily accessible. I love Indian sweets too.
My bestie is part Syrian and I grew up eating baklava. Delicious!

But alas I have ants if I have a crumb out. So no more baking for me. I would love the chocolate macadamia. Honestly I can't think of a cookie I wouldn't eat. Lol

Pie is my favorite. Then ice cream. I am thinking most people are going to pick ice cream as their favorite. And peach pie is my favorite pie. Followed by blueberry, then sugar cream, then coconut cream, then banana cream. Chocolate. I'm addicted. But make it chocolate chip ice cream and I'd say that's probably better. Or...better yet....molten chocolate cake with vanilla ice cream on top - yummy!
