From James Mangold ( Logan/3:10 to Yuma/Copland/etc), who seems to be shaping up to be an excellent filmmaker and who has shared many insights on classic films in his social media account -- It looks like an insightful compilation of historical references on the making of certain classic films. I have only read the article on SUNSET BOULEVARD so far ...and will try to find time for the others soon. In case anyone is interested

Looks interesting. I have bookmarked it. Thanks for finding me this. Now all you have to do is find me the time to read all the articles.

Thanks for this from me too, baj2. And I'm sure everyone here knows this one, but in case anyone doesn't... sensesofcinema.com

Just read the interesting stuff on Marnie.
It is badly designed with very long lines of text and very little leading (white space between lines). That is a bad combination for ease of reading.
I do not know why people cannot stick to the tried and tested. It saves time designing and users are more familiar.
Who was the asshole here who decided to depart from the standard quotes facility on ProBoards sites? The only easy way to reply to a long post here is to quote the whole of it, even if you are only responding to one or two lines. You can edit what is in the quote box but it is hard work here, when so easy to do elsewhere.
It is discouraging me from responding to many of salzmank's interesting long threads. I am sure he is as disappointed about that as I am.

I am very disappointed about it, london777 . I'm genuinely interested in what everyone has to say, believe it or not. EDIT: I mean, you could always copy and past what the other person said and that press the "quote" button around that. For example...

Yes, you have cracked it. I will wrestle with this puzzle tomorrow. Just goes to prove what Tim Berners-Lee always says:

Yes, you have cracked it. I will wrestle with this puzzle tomorrow. Just goes to prove what Tim Berners-Lee always says: There's a wonderful aspect of the American Constitution called the 5th Amendment. I'm pleading it.
