A couple of bad Batman films aside he wasn't a bad director. RIP.

R.I.P. It's a shame. I think given the rest of his filmography, if WB left him alone we could had gotten a decent Batman film.

RIP. Its sad that despite directing some amazing films, people always think of Batman & Robin when they hear his name.

That's too bad. I am not ashamed to admit I liked Forever more than Returns.

I've tended to be quite outspoken about my dislike of Batman and Robin over the years, but I acknowledge him as a good director outside of his Batman work. And I believe that if the studio had pushed for a more mature take on the source material, Schumacher could have delivered the goods. Anyway, R.I.P.
