So I know the odds of this happening are almost zero. However, I think one option for the MLB right now is to pick up the season where they left off during the strike shortened 1994 season. That season ended August 11th, which would actually work well as a return date with how things are going. All the teams could be given the same records where the left off with in 1994. I know this is gonna create a ton of issues. Some teams playing now didn’t even exist back then and many teams are in different divisions. But I think there are ways to work around that, The World Series winner would be listed in the record books as the 1994 winner.

I don't know how you get Tony Gwynn back to try hit .400, but if he's back, I'm all in!
What, too soon?

I actually have this copy of Sports Illustrated in a box of memorabilia that I held onto (mostly sports related stuff my dad gave me). Great piece there.
