I used to love cucumbers and cucumber sandwiches but I can no longer digest them. Hopefully next year we're going to plant black raspberry bushes next to our privacy fence. I have some wild raspberries growing next to a rose bush out front, probably some bird or mouse pooped out a seed. I left the few berries alone for whatever little creature wants them. I loved cukes when I was a kid, I'd take them right from the garden. I'd slice them from the top to almost the bud end, so it looked like it was quartered, then I would pepper them and eat them like a big popsicle. Then as an adult I found I was burping cukes for 3 days solid. I now absolutely hate them now. |

Ahhhhhh Will they reach the production stage? Wish I were your neighbor. I would give you plenty! Thanks BUT If you were my neighbor yours would have only two leaves too ! And yes ..I will get way too many too ... eventually !  Or if you were my neighbor I would not have a garden but wait for you to share. Lol I have exciting news bat I picked 2 tomatoes today!! Two!! The first of the season. I feel rich. Tomatoes are by far my favorite garden item. I'm excited! I also took a dozen more cukes to a neighbor who foolishly told me she liked them. Lol Are you picking anything ? How's your garden? |
