Even though we all knew they would make more, the 2018 film would’ve worked perfectly fine as the franchise’s last hurrah. What is the “finale” even supposed to be about? There’s really not much you can do with a slasher movie franchise. I would say that they might as well just make a movie set in space, but Friday the 13th already went down that well.

I feel like having a title that says “Ends” or “Final” or “Last” in the title should be outlawed. We all know it’s not gonna be the “last” one if it makes money.
