For those of you who may have seen the British show in 06 called "Dead Set," this is a direct remake out of Brazil and better than the original.
The original show was six episodes. This show does the those six episodes in five and then has another five episodes of what happens next, kind of a sequel to Dead Set's first season (there's a minor plot change in the original show that leads to the second set of five episodes).
Overall I liked this even better than Dead Set and if you're a zombie movie/show fan, this was one of the best IMO. A million times better than The Walking Dead, one of the main differences being the people are afraid of the zombies and the zombies are actually scary.
You can get it dubbed on netflix but if you can find the original broadcast with subtitles, i recommend that.

I kinda liked Dead Set, despite its trappings. I also recently watched Black Summer, which is 8 episodes and is decent. Gory and suspenseful, but there is basically 0 character development so you don't particularly care when people get killed. All the same, it's also a million times better than The Walking Dead, which is god-awful (at least it was when I gave up on it years ago). Fuck dubbed. Subtitles is always the way to go.

I did see Black Summer, thought it was better than TWD (which isn't saying much) but average over all. The thing about Reality Z is of course the characters are all idiots. Just once I want to see a zombie film or show where the people do what you or I would do in a real zombie situation.

When it showed up on Netflix I thought the premise sounded interesting so I watched the first five or ten minutes of the first episode. I liked it, it's on my list now.

Can’t recall Dead Set at all.
Made by Charlie Brooker, the man behind Black Mirror.

Can’t recall Dead Set at all. Made by Charlie Brooker, the man behind Black Mirror. Ah, that's why they open this show with his name. I didn't know that. Loved Black Mirror except for that last "season" of 3 episodes, all which really really sucked.
