All right, so obviously in "Doctor Strange," we had a huge set-up for Karl Mordo and Dr. Strange to become opposed to one another (pragmatist vs extremist rivalry). So, do you think he'll be a villain in future Dr. Strange flicks (and maybe in other MCU flicks), or an anti-hero? And if he is a villain, do you see him being the main antagonist, or more of a side threat?

But there will almost certainly be a cosmic villain as well like Duormomoomoo. Probably Nightmare. So Mordo will play a similar role to Kaiceliousises. Although he may join forces with Strange in Act Three. I should admit though I don't know much about DS comics so this is just an educated guess.

If I had to guess, he will be a side villain in a certain way, unleashing or colluding with more dangerous villains like Nightmare perhaps.
The reason I say that is, it was pretty clear in the first film that Strange is far more capable than Mordo, and I don't see how Mordo ever surpasses or even equals Strange's ability without being enhanced or getting help from something else.

I'd say they could be considered equals. When it came to actual fighting skills, Mordo seems to have been well ahead of Strange's level, and was far more experienced. Magically, Strange's knowledge and use was better than Mordo's, since he used smarts vs just strength and power. That said, I could see your case being what happens with him. He could still be the main antagonist, but hidden and more indirect, manipulating events and other huge villains against Dr. Strange and Wong. Perhaps Mordo manipulates Strange and Wong into a war with Nightmare, or he makes a deal with Nightmare to hand them over to him, while Mordo starts trying to de-power or kill off the other master sorcerers.

Doesn't strange's magical advantage completely make mordo's fighting ability irrelevant? The other factor here is that it was clear strange learns at a much faster rate, meaning mordo could almost certainly never catch up once passed
I could see Mordo playing a puppet master though as you said.

Fair enough. I could see Mordo learning that the hard way when he and Strange inevitably will throw down, with Strange beating him with his smarts vs Mordo's strength and experience. Thus, Mordo starts fighting Strange with his own smarts.

Mordo still has the Staff of the Living Tribunal with him, and the Living Tribunal is one of THE most powerful Marvel Beings out there. Even more powerful than Phoenix.

Probably an antihero. I don't see him doing villainous deeds like Loki for the pleasure of it.

They made it up just for the movie, but if it taps into the Living Tribunal's power then that means Mordo is STUPIDLY powerful with it.
But we have to see what he can do with it.

If it tapped into it and Mordo was chosen to use it, he would have wiped out Kacileous during the mirror dimension battle with no problem. So I have to believe it doesn't, or at least not to that extent.

Possibly you have to be in the right mindset to do so, and Mordo was supposedly a guy struggling with his inner demons and trying NOT to be violent.
I can't say for sure, we'll have to wait until he comes back, but it's possible now that he's gone fanatical and no longer fighting his inner demons he's not holding back anymore.

I think he won't be evil for the sake of it, but will actually be doing what he thinks is right, and hopefully, that will be a little bit of a tough question to answer.
