The rumor is that Disney will use the World Between Worlds crap from one of the cartoons nobody watches to erase the disasterous sequels. That would be messy, it would be better just to make new movies that ignore episodes 7-9 ever happened. Discuss.

Am I really supposed to believe the information that comes from a place that's called "Doomcock Overlord"?

I don't believe it for a second. Disney and Lucasfilm invested so much time and resources to suddenly render the sequel trilogy non-canon.

Yep, and how that's even possible is completely mind-blowing.

The lack of a pre-planned story outline was disappointing and so aggravating.

They could certainly make up anything since they dont care. They may well do an official Star Wars 1977 remake in a few years and make Luke a tranny tri-racial whatchamacallit. Bankrupt creativity so anything goes.

That'd be a terrible idea. The sequel trilogy is done, there's no need to do anything else with all that if they don't want to.
Even the Skywalker Saga is done, it's not like they have to make other movies around the same time.
Make another trilogy set thousands of years before Episode 1 with Darth Bane or movies hundreds of years later.

Until the damage to Luke is fixed, SW will remain a dying property.

Am I really supposed to believe the information that comes from a place that's called "Doomcock Overlord"? It's not a place, its a person. They're a parody of Victor Von Doom from the Fantastic Four who makes informational videos in a comedic and over the top fashion.

The damage is already done I am afraid, no amount of retconning will take away from the wasted potential of this trilogy. Kathleen Kennedy blew it.

People whined about the prequels for years just the same. They should make movies across other eras, the Skywalker stuff is played out now.

I am just going to assume that its a rumor that is not true.
Because it would be pretty stupid if they did that.

this is stupid and i don't believe , but Disney will probably reboot the whole saga in 20 years, erasing it all, not just the sequel trilogy

I saw an article on Twitter saying they're not going to erase them afterall.
Just make an animated series after ROTJ and be done with it.

At this point I don't care.
Carrie Fisher is dead, Harrison Ford and Mark Hamil probably won't return. Disney missed their chance to do a proper sequel trilogy.
Might as well move on to different things in the Star Wars universe.
