Does Fisher get both Momoa and Gal are people of colour? Gal's Israeli, that is in asia, Momoa is Hawaiian, the TC of JL also didn't kill the black supporting character of JL in Joe Morton aka Silas Stone, I mean yeah they cut out Ryan Choi and Iris West but neither really impact the plot, they are just there, so when you are trimming down a 3 1/2 - 4 hour movie you tend to trim that sort of stuff, but they also cut out the white creepy Norwegian singers, the white Atlantean that Steppenwolf tortures.
Only real gripe I get is removing Cyborgs mother, but at the same time it's probably for the same reason they lightened the character of Cyborg up a bit, that shits depressing, he's angry his mother died, his dad didn't die or almost die with her and him, and is bitter his dad didn't see him play football, then his dad actually dies, where as in the TC they cut that out, he's angry what his dad did to him and his dad doesn't die which means he's still in the franchise if they got any additional movies involving Cyborg.
This is where he just sounds like he's looking for stupid things to bitch about, if Snyders version didn't kill of Silas Stone and Whedon's did you know he would be making a point baout how they just went and killed a black character what a shock or something, they changed that part of the story to lighten the movies tone, same reason they cut Batman being suicidal out of the movie, with that removed it needs all the scenes that led up to that which inform Cyborgs own guilt to be editted out as well and redone.
Why they cut the Cyborg helping that lady who got evicted though is beyond me, thats a great way to show Cyborg being a good Samaritan big and small, that I could get moaning about

Oh fuck it whatever, the Momoa point still stands as does the fact they decided to not kill of the only significant supporting black character in the movie, Fisher is just looking for ways to bitch because they cut a 4 hour long movie down to two and most of the non-white supporting cast just happened to only exist in the movie to plant seeds for future movies, something the entire movie cuts out across the board, except for the Aquaman movie because it was already in production so a lock to include, but even that they cut down significantly, it's just a stupid fucking gripe is my point.

He's found his director. One thing at a time, Ray. One at a time.

I don't think he's wrong necessarily. I think Hamada is better than Tsujihara to an extent though.

I don't think he's wrong necessarily. I think Hamada is better than Tsujihara to an extent though. It sounds like he has some legitimate grievances. The weirdest part of the article though is the revelation that some WB executives apparently tried to suggest that Fisher is only doing this because Snyder told him to. What the hell is that about? That’s the kind of crap you’d expect to see on message boards, not from executives at a major film studio. They just gave more fuel to the conspiracy theorists who think WB was trying to sabotage the Snyder Cut.

Given all the apparent backstabbing going on over at WB, it seems to be a paranoia inducing environment to work at.

In that, it was revealed that "[Whedon] threatened to harm Gadot's career and disparaged Wonder Woman director Patty Jenkins." One source even told the trade that, "Joss was bragging that he's had it out with Gal. He told her he's the writer and she's going to shut up and say the lines and he can make her look incredibly stupid in this movie." Gadot confirmed that by saying (translated via The Direct), "Joss Whedon told me he will finish my career, he told me directly that if I do something he will make sure my career will be miserable. I took care of it right away." An alternate translation doing the rounds reads, "He kind of threatened my career and said if I did something, he would make my career miserable and I just took care of it instead." www.comicbookmovie.com/wonder_woman/wonder_woman_1984/justice-league-star-gal-gadot-confirms-joss-whedon-told-me-he-will-finish-my-career-a184618#gs.0yw4hg

Now that Gal Gadot has finally come out and claimed that Whedon threatened her career (which was rumored as far back as 2018), I wonder if that’s the end of this.

Who wakes up in the morning planning on going to work to threaten Gal Gadot??? There's more plausible Wonder Woman stories.

No. It will need to come from a more reliable source than comicbookmovie.com. It would also help if we got the full context of the conversation, as in what exactly led to that exchange.

Doubtful, maybe the end of the Whedon drama bombshells, but Fisher has been using this to be relevant for the last year, and nothing else he is doing is getting him attention, so I expect him to periodically stoke the flames a few more times till his next show begins airing. This stuff with Whedon/Gal though is hilarious how fucking stupid Whedon supposedly was, yes Joss threaten a woman who was universally praised for her role as Wonder Woman in BVS, who was universally praised for her role in the follow up/prequel Wonder Woman movie which grossed over $800m and was the most successful DCEU film to come out at that point, maybe still is at this point, yeah threaten her, the former Israeli soldier who is also independently wealthy via marriage, because thats a women who will put up with that bullshit...what a spanner.

Well I personally hope this would be the end of this. People say dumb shit at work all the time, multiplied by 10 if you work in the movie industry. Does this excuse bad behavior? No. But it isn't exactly news worthy either unless there's more to it. And until we know the full context of the conversation, well, it just gets tiring.

It doesn’t seem like there’s anything left to talk about. WarnerMedia is unlikely to apologize to him and they’re not going to fire people like Geoff Johns or Walter Hamada because of a small name actor.

WarnerMedia is unlikely to apologize to him and they’re not going to fire people like Geoff Johns or Walter Hamada because of a small name actor. Like I said last month he will keep brining this up to stay as relevant as he can until something else comes up he can ride for attention, at this point it feels like it's literally like scheduled, oops been 30+ days since I openly bitched about DC and WB's better stoke those embers before they get too cold. And this is the thing stuff like this where all he is doing is blatantly trying to keep himself relevant devalues any perceived good intentions he had when this all started imo, which for me was very low to begin with but whatever.
