I stick with my original favourite, Winter Soldier. It is still my favourite Marvel movie up till now, Guardians 2 never came close.
It is epic, has a beautifully done villain, excellent fights,...
And yes, Civil War has the best superhero fight, not sure if that will ever be improved on, but as a whole Winter Soldier is the better movie for me.
I don't find it surprising that Captain America takes the top two spots. I didn't care much for the first one, although it is a good movie (too long of a build-up for my taste), but parts 2 and 3 are excellent.

Both are great movies, but The Winter Soldier is my personal favorite MCU movie to date. Had you asked me the same question a year ago I'd have probably said The Avengers or Guardians of the Galaxy, but after a rewatch of the Winter Soldier I was sure that it's my favorite MCU movie. It has a lot of action, emotion and a well crafted plot. Captain America and Black Widow are both great and the winter soldier is really cool. I know he's not an actual 'bad guy', (since he was brainwashed and eventually rescues Cap) but he's one of my favorite villains in an MCU movie. |

Spider-Man, X2, Spider-Man 2, Days of Future Past, and Logan are all better than any single entry into the MCU.
I know you guys love quantity over -- well, anything, to say nothing of quality, so you are blind to what the late and amazing Hunter S. Thompson called "grim meathook realities," but that's the way it goes down.

Too late to vote, but I would've voted Winter Soldier. Both great films, can't go wrong either way.

IMO, The Avengers is the best MCU movie, but of these 2. I'd choose Civil War, but I love both. Same. |

TWS feels less epic with time. Captain America shines with an ensemble, not running around like Batman. Black Widow bringing the levity also seems strange after her Avengers films & pained identity around her past & feelings for Banner.
Nick Fury is the star of TWS for me.
