Per Brett Brown -
Simmons - 100%
Embiid - 'Lets start with the respect and applause I give him for putting in the time. There is nobody on our team who has put in more time than Joel Embiid. Forget what he has actually done in the gym for a minute, just go to the man hours and consecutive days and the amount of days he has put in over the last few months. I'm proud of him.'
First game slated for August 1st.
That's one more month of grinding in the gym working on their health and bodies.
Your 2020 NBA Champions -
The Philadelphia 76ers
Lets roll baby!

I heard Joel Embid is the only person in the world where COVID-19 resulted in a lower leg injury.

They have a better chance at losing in the first round than going to the finals yet alone winning

Him and shake came out and said they really don't want to be there.
I don't blame them,
But Jo-Jo stated he wasn't going to let his teammates and city down.

Ben Simmons can't throw a fish. Ben Simmons can't throw a fish into an open rimmed wide open lake. If you believe in Disney World ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE!!!!!!

There's still time for the one person who voted incorrectly to change their pick.
No shame in voting "other."

Good news Sixers Nation/Army - Victor Oladipo has opted out of returning It's all falling into place Fam I don't understand. Why don't people from other cities of Pennsylvania support Sixers or Philadelphia in general? For example, why don't people from Pittsburgh support Sixers? In India, if a cricket team is from one city of any state then people from other cities of that state also supports the team from their state. I think there is something special about Philadelphia. That's why it invites this much hate.

In India, if a cricket team is from one city of any state then people from other cities of that state also supports the team from their state. I think there is something special about Philadelphia. That's why it invites this much hate. Good question AJ,
It's all about jealousy. And haters love to hate.
In Pittsburgh's case - they don't even have a basketball team. I can't imagine living in that area - i.e. Pittsburgh/Cleveland/Cincinatti/Buffalo - I like to refer to it as the armpit of America. Just drab, dull, bleak, cold - I think a lot of manufacturing goes on out that way - they really haven't advanced much as a society - they're pretty much stuck in the Industrial Revolution era.
I've always had this question when it comes to New Yorkers too when it comes to multiple teams. i.e. - Why wouldn't you support your brother? Like why don't Mets fans vote for the Yankees and vice versa. Jets/Giants. Islanders/Rangers. Knicks/Nets. Out in Chicago - White Sox/Cubs. L.A. - Rams/Chargers. Dodgers/Angels.
It's always confused me. Haters gonna hate. Jealousy/hatred is an ugly trait.
In the Sixers case - I think the hate stems back to when The Process started. People stated it was unethical and that the tanking wouldn't work. Jokes on them. It did work We have 2 young generational talents.
For all the people down on them this year - they finished 13 games above .500 - this with the starting 5 all playing limited time together.
Why I think they'll win the title? They finally figured it out. I was calling at the start of the season to have Al Horford come off the bench to backup up Jo-Jo. They wouldn't do it. They stuck him at the '4' starting next to Joel. It was a horrible fit. Sounds expensive to pay a guy over $100 mil to be a backup and come off the bench. But that's how important Joel is to the team. It's a nice investment if used properly - strictly to protect Joel.
They finally figured it out. Move Al to the bench - and have better floor spacing and move Shake into the starting lineup.
They also had 2 gigantic pickups at the trade deadline to pick up more shooting - Alec Burks and GR3. The lineup now rotating the likes of Shake, Furkan, GR3 and Burks - and having Al strictly back up Joel - it opens the court up with better floor spacing and add shooting which they desperately need.
