Alright, so, I’m a bit embarrassed to admit that I made a bit of goof with the previous thread. I forgot to include Jared Leto’s name, and I ended up locking the poll prematurely. Anyway, the thread’s now locked, so I guess I might as well start over with a new one. You guys know the drill.

I love both Nicholson and Ledger, but I feel that the former is more successful at portraying the 'traditional' Joker (i.e. wacky, manic, awash with fancy yet deadly gadgets, Joker poison, etc). As a result of this and solely for this reason, I voted for Jack. Still adore Ledger's take.

Batman 89 is on AMC right now. I just smoked a J, and Jack just finished his museum entrance. He's awesome. Definitely the best.

The best Joker is the one who sold poison on an infomercial and danced to Prince....

Ledger. And after a week with no votes for Phoenix, are we in agreement that Joker is not a 'comic book movie?' It's a film inspired by IP that was originally comic book material, but it isn't a comic book movie.
