I'm not really a football guy, or a sports person in general, but football's pretty rough to begin with; might as well go for broke and let the players beat the hell out of each other, right? Not to be fair to Pat's son, even though he might have known about this project for three weeks, if you're making something out of sugar/candy, how long are you really going to have it sitting out? Especially since it clearly didn't take him that long to make it... It's a good thing Courtney's mom is oblivious to the obvious tension between Courtney and Pat. There have been so many exchanged looks between those two, plus that time they were simultaneously injured and offered a blatantly made-up excuse, it should maybe start to seem a little suspicious. Jesus, if it's not bad enough that Beth is sitting there, seemingly talking to herself; she can't be bothered to not call Courtney by her secret identity? I don't even buy that "nobody pays attention to me" BS, because Courtney and Ylonda talking openly about everything is exactly how Beth found out about them in the first place. Oh, so Courtney's mom is called Barbara.... Well, I guess I learned something at this science fair... I'd make a crack about the helicopter sports parents probably making their daughter juice to stay competitive, then I remembered that that's basically Hour Man's power... "Is he okay?" Serious, Beth? Gee, it's like this team of heroes are untrained kids who don't know what they're doing; or understand the stakes or somethig.... 🤔Naturally the most competent fighter on the team... is the staff. Heaven forbid they go more than 10 seconds to make you think the Junior Justice Society lost the one advantage. "Pat should work for NASA" - fuck that, Pat should basically be this world's Elon Musk or something; if he has the know how to build something like his STRIPE suit, and make it efficient enough to operate it on his budget as a small town mechanic, he could offer the world engineering revolutions that would easily make him a billionaire.
