I’m thinking it’s just a coincidence, but both movies are very similar in my opinion. Both movies follow similar characters, humans try to make peace with aliens and humans getting killed after trying to make peace, and aliens are trying to take over the world. Not only that they came out the same year.
I could be wrong, but I just wanted to know everyone else’s thoughts.
