Even on this site I have to see the “5 signs you have (insert serious disease)” every time I login.
Then I use my outlook email account and see all the same BS on the side of the screen. I don’t understand why Microsoft, one of the biggest companies on Earth takes money from these garbage click bate pieces of trash. And every major website has this crap. “This Celebrity is Gorgeous Now!”... “The Tragedy of (Insert Celebrity) Gets Sadder!”
If it were ads for Cheerios or Dairy Queen or whatever, then fine... but why this scum of the earth bullshit EVERYWHERE?!
I’m sick of seeing it.

If you're using Chrome or Firefox you can install Ublock origins.

Youtube ads are the new late night 90's infomercials.
'If you aren't using X, you're just not living properly' 'You never realized X until we show you Y' 'Sign up today & unleash your life for just X a day'
Fcuk off.

I’m sick of seeing it. I couldn't agree with you more. It's tacky, nasty stuff. I used to read "The Enquirer" in the 1980s and whatever. Then I didn't read it for a very, very long time. Then I bought a copy about a year ago and it had changed so much. It was vile, mean-spirited. Just about the worst of the worst. I couldn't finish it.

People should have boycotted YouTube once those commercials began interrupting videos. Sometimes I'll just stop watching when the ad comes on. The video isn't even worth finishing if I have to sit through two ads. It's not like I'm watching a tv show or anything. The videos are typically unimportant anyway so who wants to sit through ads? I'm already wasting time with the video!

You try to live your life as best you can, abiding by your own set principles only to have some uninvited person boldly tell you that you are doing everything wrong. F*ck off, indeed! I just wonder if these individuals know that they are alienating the majority? And that this is doing major damage to their selling potential. It is passive aggressive in the extreme.

I'm getting adverts for Lexus cars. I drive a totally basic Ford. Someone got their wires crossed. I'm not even shopping for cars since I've been driving the same car for years.
I wonder what new advert will pop up now...

The sad part is that these garbage ads get a lot of hits. Unfortunately a lot of people either believe they are legitamite (almost certainly in part because they often appear on the sides of credible sites like Microsoft) or they simply succumb to curiousity. I have caught a few people I know clicking on those and scorned them appropriately. I recall one that read "Celebs you didn't know have died" which featured a picture of Liv Tyler. Instead of clicking I looked her up on google and found that she was of course still alive. So shameless and horrible.

Really disturbing. 😂

Funnily enough, they've all become white noise- I couldn't tell a soul what I'm being sold other than I Have Join X &/or You Really Aren't Living Until Y. I double down a fcuk off.

Did you see "Goldie Hawn without makeup" and the one about the Amish, and "____ won't apologize for her new figure" and as you mentioned, "celebrities you didn't know who died."

I saw one today about a "man sized bird" with a picture of a bird wearing a shirt. And this was in Microsoft Outlook! Are you kidding me?! 😂

There's the "this superstar actress now works a 9-to-5 job" with the side by side photos of actress Julia Stiles, someone who I wouldn't call a superstar. Without looking it up, she's probably has had some recent acting roles.
