I'd welcome it depending on how it's done. I don't know if I'd be all that interested in solo movies and I don't want him as the villain in Black Panther 2...
But I'd like to see his origin in Eternals, and I'd be pretty excited if he were a villain in a F4 movie.
What say YOU?

This topic has been discussed many times. It feels like everything there is to say has been said dozens of times over.
That being said, I never get bored exploring exactly how he could be integrated into the MCU.
I wouldn't mind Namor playing a supporting role in Black Panther 2 or a secondary villain. I don't want him to be the central villain of Black Panther 2. Black Panther's own introduction in Civil War was deftly executed and should be the model for handling Namor.
His solo films should be unique. I imagine a series of prequels that don't involve many other superheroes and don't follow a typical hero's journey structure.
Pitting him against the Fantastic Four is a given, but realistically, they'll need to build up to that.

Yeah, I'd welcome it. It'd be far more accessible now than five years ago. Arthur Curry swam so Namor can freestyle.

I really like him as an off beat villain and the pairing with F4 just works so well. The real question though is: Do they give him the FEET WINGS?

If I were Feige I'd be concerned that the general public would view him as an Aquaman ripoff. Sure, we all know that Namor was created first, but most people won't know that as A) Aquaman has always been a household name while Namor isn't and B) Aquaman has had big budget movie just last year. I wonder if they'd make changes to the mythos. Another underwater prince from Atlantis may strike people as too similar.

His ankle wings are a bit silly, but they are intrinsic to the character. I think they can be explained away as vestigial organs. Namor is the so-called "Sub Mariner," but in actuality, he is a triple threat --- hyper adapted to land, sea, and air. I'm concerned about Namor coming off as an Aquaman clone when he is far from it. To avoid the most striking similarities between the two, I think Marvel should firmly establish Namor as the Monarch of his domain - a title that had to be taken by force (and not persuasion). I think Namor would make for a great way to introduce the concept of a mutant. When the scientific community tries to explain his immense strength, endurance, and longevity, they'll attribute it to his hybrid heritage, no doubt. It would be surprising to discover his human genes are the reason for these abilities and not his Atlantean side.

Black Panther... There are a lot of heroes only known to comic geeks. We need Namor. So he was a bad guy in his first appearance. He's teamed up with Doom as well.

I feel like it was pretty clear that I was explaining why Aquaman may lead people to see Namor as a knock off... Not that he was too unknown to adapt.

Do you think his appearance in Justice League and his solo movie have wiped decades of the character being treated as a massive joke?

This might be why the anti-hero route with Namor. Start with him as a villain As for him being perceived as a knockoff, marketing easily could express how old the character is.

I'm definately not a fan of Justice League or James Wan's Aquaman. I think the latter is vastly overrated. It seems that the general public has embraced it though.

I hope not. I would’ve been excited for this if it was still a T’Challa-centric movie. But as much I hate to say it, I’m planning to skip BP2.

Never heard of him, I hope he kills it.

Kinda looks a bit puny to be Namor to be honest. Hopefully he does well but as far as looks go, I don't see it.

I remember hearing there was a Latino character in Black Panther’s rogue gallery, and that’s who Tenoch was initially thought to be playing. I forget the character’s name though.
