Walker didn't let her fall. She was going to fall before Hal could get the harness on. Walker got there just in time for her to grab his hand.
Although didn't Hal throw himself off the cliff as a joke which may have weakened the clip? Did he swing it back for them to use because if so, then Hal was probably the reason it snapped.

How does someone "finally watch" Cliffhanger? Is it like a special club that anyone can join or is there some kind of secret password to get in? You’re so fucking annoying, my God. I had it in my watchlist for years and just now got around to it. Clear enough for you, asshole? There's no confusion over what getting around to watching any old movie takes but a classic like Cliffhanger? It's like you're saying you've just gotten around to seeing the sun in other words I don't believe you, Asshole.

I’ve hidden my crippling addiction for too long. Thank you so much for exposing my lie. By the way I don’t believe you that you even like it. There’s no way in hell you like this movie. In fact, I have it on good authority that you absolutely hate it. Prick.

Great movie how anyone can claim to have just watched it is worthy of ridicule. Joking around and maybe being sarcastic isn't trolling also someone who has taken a photo of herself with her boobs out so every user on this forum can look at it shouldn't be calling anyone a troll.

Popeye's avatars aren't selfies, they're various models. Along those lines, who is the new one of Popeye Doyle?

Great opening scene but unfortunately the rest of the movie doesn't live up to it. For an action movie, the pacing is slow and the villains are really annoying. There was intimidating about those lame villains. Stallone spends most of the movie moping around. Always thought this Die Hard on a Mountain was a bit overrated and over-hyped. Actually the black villain was the best part but we could've done with some Kung Fu karate kid bad guys to kick some Sylvester ass.

He doesn't discuss, he argues for the sake of arguing and tries to get a rise out of people for fun. He is useless. You know what drives someone like Hunter nuts? Not acknowledging that he even exists, though I just did for your sake. Then again, he might be 13 years old. That is where his maturity level seems to be at anyway.

I liked this movie I just don’t believe you now move on already this is becoming boring. Asshole. I would like to add that depending on your age sdrew, I would be surprised that you hadn't seen Cliffhanger until now if you are also an avid fan of the action genre. Unless you dislike Stallone as an actor in general or something. Now if someone my age said that had never seen Speed, I would say "how is that even possible?" in a joking way and out of curiosity.

Yeah I usually try to be at least somewhat mature but he caught me at a bad time and he’s just a dick in general for no reason. And there’s one thing to be surprised by someone not seeing a movie (there are quite a few popular ones I still need to see) and another thing to accuse me of lying and being an idiot. He did the latter. For the record I’ve never seen Speed all the way through either lol. But I’m also in my twenties and I believe you’ve said you’re older than that.

I wasn't arguing for Hunter, I was just stating what my reaction would be within a specific range of criteria. Yeah, I am 37 and most of what I was interested in when I was 10-13 was action movies and horror movies. Speed is awesome and shame on you for having not seen it all the way through yet.

I get what you were saying. It's essentially what The Dark Knight was for me. Maybe once I finish up my Tony Scott binge I'll watch all of Speed.

I like Speed significantly more than all of Tony Scott's movies, except True Romance btw. Have you at least seen True Lies? I'd say The Dark Knight is more comparable to Terminator 2: Judgment Day in terms of impact and popularity than Speed.

The action is great, but almost every character is annoying and the story ends up being more frustrating than anything else imo. I'd probably give it a 5/10.

I think True Lies is extremely entertaining and often very funny action movie. I don't find the characters annoying in a bad way, but I can sort of see where you are coming from. 8/10 for me. Not sure what you mean by the story being frustrating, but you don't have to explain your reason to me. The movie is a comedy the way I see it and part of why it works so well as a comedy I think is actually the reason you dislike it. The scene with Arnold and Paxton is one of the funniest scenes I have ever seen in anything for example. Arnold is a douchebag in the movie who treats his family as if they are an inconvenience to him almost and this causes his goofy bored wife to find something elsewhere and then him becoming hypocritically jealous. The movie is about them becoming closer and the very ending is very funny, where they are now 2 agents who work together. That is the way I see the movie anyway.
