Seen threads on these boards about the ending of Lost and Ray Donovan. Ending can be divisive. My take on the big endings, the ones I've seen anyhoo...
SPOILERS from here out. Duh
The Sopranos - Loved it but I can see the dislike. My take, you have seen the chapter of Tony Soprano's life when he was seeing a psychiatrist. Chapter over. The last season was so brilliant.
Battlestar Galactica - Meh. When the mystery of the Final Five was solved, the steam kind of left the show. My wife called the ending in Season 1, "They will make it back to Earth and see the Pyramids being built." Damned close...
Dexter - That whole final season was a write off. I still cringe when I think to Dexter running his boat into the storm with Deb on board
Game of Thrones - Fuckers (pardon my French, sil vous plait). It almost seemed like they wrecked it on purpose. They way they changed characters. Tyrion becomes a moron, Danerys a monster, Jamie becomes wishy washy. One giant bow and arrow can kill a dragon. 50, not a chance. Despicable
Breaking Bad - Perfection. Any comment would be superfluous
The Wire - Series dragged a little at the beginning of he last season but the finale was very good
My feelings about Lost are in that thread.

Saw the very last episode of Perry Mason.
The last scene was sooooo cool.
After the inevitable victory and while still in the courtroom, Perry opened his briefcase and started to give Della and Drake a run-down on the next case.
Nice closer !

About 145,000 years off, but sort of right.

About 145,000 years off, but sort of right. If I remember, in the old BG, didn’t they get a transmission from Earth but it was of Armstrong landing on the Moon?

Game of Thrones - Fuckers (pardon my French, sil vous plait). It almost seemed like they wrecked it on purpose. They way they changed characters. Tyrion becomes a moron, Danerys a monster, Jamie becomes wishy washy. One giant bow and arrow can kill a dragon. 50, not a chance. Despicable The ending of Game Of Thrones was divisive because people hated it for different reasons Daenerys was always going to be a monster. She was introduced as payment for an invasion by savages and soon upgraded to "the Dragon", the evil beast in millennia of mythology. It was clear early on that she was meant to abuse her unlimited power and her evolution towards this was gradual but steady and plainly visible. Her stupid fans hated the ending because they didn't see what everyone else saw coming from the 4th season at the very latest. Jaime ended doing what he said he would for the whole show. He kept repeating, over and over, that his sister was the only thing that truly mattered in his life and only the blind saw him on a fantasised "redemption arc". The writing turned very bad but not in these two points. The books will take these two characters the same way, in case they are completed before we all die of that stupid Covid thing. Tyrion was a different matter. For the rest, I do believe the writing was dumbed down on purpose from the 6th season onwards. The flaws of the 5th season were shortcuts but afterwards it was a conscious intent to please the ever growing masses of fools who wanted to make reaction videos in front of "shocking twists", no matter how illogical they became. The show adapted to its audience.

Kind of a cool moment, but I think it betrayed the "ancient astronaut" premise of the show. I'm glad the reboot had them find Earth in the distant past and basically tell us that the Galacticans were the founders of the original civilizations on Earth.
