So far the joint worst game of the resumption, to my eyes, up there with Bournemouth v Spurs. But Jim Jiminy Jiminez thankfully pots a penalty on the last kick of the half to maybe get this game going. Everton have to show us something more in the 2nd half surely?

Everton looks so timid. Not much of a penalty, but it clearly was one, to account for the score.

It's two. It's two. Whatever Ancelotti said at half time, it hasn't got through. The head of Dendoncker pots a stonker a minute into the 2nd session.

Yes, they've got talent out there, Sigurdson, Davis, Richarlison, Lewin, but they are not doing their bit for our entertainment. Meanwhile, Rob Smyth has heard from an Everton fan from your neck of the woods :

Even butter-fingered Pickford is adding to the embarrassment as he scrabbles like a lizard to retrieve the ball off the line after it slipped through his cupped hands much like when you see a child trying to catch a bubble. Hilarious.

I'm in California. I didn't wake up that early, but didn't really miss anything. It's been scorching hot here in So Cal last three days, all over one hundred degrees F with yesterday topping one hundred five. It's now 5:30 am and already starting to heat up. Think I'll take the rest of this one off and get in a workout before it's impossible.

That's 3 - 0 Wolves. Great, gigantic cross covering half the pitch to a streaking wolf who also makes a great strike for the score.

Woeful, damnable Everton. Apart from seeing off the goals bet they have delivered a consummate lesson in futility. The futility of even turning up when you've nothing but nothing to offer. Wolves go 6th, Everton, always knowing they were safe in mid-table, remain 11th.
