So far the joint worst game of the resumption, to my eyes, up there with Bournemouth v Spurs. But Jim Jiminy Jiminez thankfully pots a penalty on the last kick of the half to maybe get this game going. Everton have to show us something more in the 2nd half surely?

Even butter-fingered Pickford is adding to the embarrassment as he scrabbles like a lizard to retrieve the ball off the line after it slipped through his cupped hands much like when you see a child trying to catch a bubble. Hilarious.

I'm in California. I didn't wake up that early, but didn't really miss anything. It's been scorching hot here in So Cal last three days, all over one hundred degrees F with yesterday topping one hundred five. It's now 5:30 am and already starting to heat up. Think I'll take the rest of this one off and get in a workout before it's impossible. |

Woeful, damnable Everton. Apart from seeing off the goals bet they have delivered a consummate lesson in futility. The futility of even turning up when you've nothing but nothing to offer. Wolves go 6th, Everton, always knowing they were safe in mid-table, remain 11th.
