World Cup will be held in the U.S. for the first time since 1994.
Games will also be held in Mexico - and get this - the world is throwing Canada a bone and they'll get a game or two.
Are you excited.
I'm excited because my city will be hosting a game.
Well - they have like 17 cities right now and will pick 10 finalists by 2021 - but we're in.
Think I'm going to brush up on my soccer a bit and start to watch the Philly Union.

Hopefully Montreal will get some games too.
There was no need to include Mexico. The USA and Canada are too big already.

Isn't it big down there.
You'd have to think Mexico City gets to host some...........

What cities deserve to host in the U.S., Mexico and Canada.
I may have read the article wrong - I don't know if it's 10 in the U.S. - or 10 total between the 3 of them
Off the top of my head -
Philly New York Boston Baltimore DC
L.A. Seattle St. Louis Dallas Chicago
Mexico City . . . . Vancouver
That's 11 - we've got to throw one out.
Hmmmm. Let's throw St. Louis out. Middle of the country can be represented by Chicago and Dallas.

Yes, I am sure it will be a big success in Mexico - but I am thinking about the travelling fans. It will be bad enough for them to have to travel from Atlanta to Chicago to Vancouver to follow their teams; throw in Mexico City, Monterrey and Guadalajara and it will become a nightmare.

At least I hope that's the case, otherwise there is no way that Canada will have even two host cities.

I don't have a city in the Southeast in there.
Oh well - looks like they won't be represented

Candidate Cities Montreal Edmonton Toronto Mexico City Guadalajara Monterrey Los Angeles New York Washington Dallas Kansas City Denver Houston Baltimore Atlanta Philadelphia Nashville Seattle San Francisco Boston Orlando Cincinnati Miami It will be narrowed down to 16, three in Mexico and Canada and 10 in the US. No need to narrow down Mexico and Canada I guess KC might look like a dark horse, but they have the stadium and they really support their MLS team.
No Chicago

Vegas will have a brand new, state-of-the-art stadium by then. That'd make more sense.

Given they've extended the World Cup to 48 teams to ensure the US doesn't miss out again, giving them the hosting makes sense.
