Part 2. Just more fun and clever.

I liked both, but I gotta go with III. Just watched both for the first time in probably 10 years.
-Liked the stakes being raised a bit (generating that much power in the past) -Doc Brown got a bit of resolution...I like him as a crazy lone scientist, but it was nice to see him find a companion other than Marty. -"Doubleback" performed by ZZ Top, written by Alan Silvestri (!). This was the tune playing when Doc was dancing. Gets stuck in my head randomly for weeks at a time.

Part III
This was Doc's movie and Christopher Lloyd is given the chance to make a fully 3 dimensional person out of what began as a cartoon character. His scenes with Mary Steenburgen are the heart of the movie, which ends on a perfect note.
It took a couple of tries, but I'm liking II more with each viewing, although it will never surpass the last installment.

I like the plots to BTTF 4 and 5 video game movies on Youtube. 5 more I think, with the Orwellian version of 1986.

I like both but I prefer 2 for its nighmarishness.
