Those killer robots sure love driving trucks. In that same movie T-1000 also drives an oil rig and in the first movie the T-800 drives a semi and in T3 the TX drives a truck too. Oh, they really do!! They can relate to trucks as fellow machines.

In the 70s, truckers were romanticized as the last free-spirited Americans. Even Henry Fonda made a flick with that theme - The Great Smokey Roadblock  Googly moogly I didn't know Eileen Brennan was packing serious heat!

Yup. It's actually William Friedkin's remake of the first picture - The Wages of Fear (1953). Both terrific films.
