A movie that takes place in the midwest yet you can still occasionally see palm trees (moving a Hollywood production to an actual midwest town might cost too much)

It's supposed to be in Florida or hot as balls and everyone is in flannel or long assed sleeves. But, the setting of the movie may not take place during the summer... I lived in Florida for a few years while growing up, and during the winter months, temperatures were colder than during the Summer months... In fact, one winter temperatures reached freezing, and a puddle on our driveway froze. On the other hand, the director may just have been a dumb ass, and didn't think of that. What about Seinfeld when he and Elaine went down to Florida and it's hot as balls and she's wearing a flannel nightie??? Meanwhile IRL I have seen women wearing winter coats in 85° weather in summer.

But never happens in real life? I don't know if this counts but: In the wild west. They always have a town that's full, but then right outside the town no one ever lives there. Because there's no houses ever to be found. Not that it's a 'complaint'. Or anything.

I never watched Seinfeld enough to know about that episode... But, I guess you missed my point. What time of year was it?And a nightie? Was she sleeping outside, or inside with air conditioning. Check your tunnel vision at the door, and start thinking outside the TV Box. Reality is far more than just being out doors during the day during the summer time in Florida.
