Ok here is my other halfer. I think Sally Hawkins is paired with Oscar nommed Agnes Moorehead They both played Mrs Reed in Jane Eyre. Hawkins was the LV
I CANNOT FIND A MATCH FOR Moorhead that is an EV
IT would be Theda m Jane Darwell or Katherine Hepburn . My guess. Is Jane Darwell but I cannot find tge film.
That leaves Theda Bara ( Go Walnut Hills Eagles. SURSUM AD SUMMUM. She graduated from my Alma mater) to match up with Hepburn. So we are looking for an oscared performer who played Juliet, Camille ,Carman, etc. After Theda did, and shared some other role with Hepburn, playing it Before Kate had a whack at it.

Wow, jervistetch and marshamae , you guys did great finishing off the game! This was another unbelievably difficult one. Marsha, I struggled with the Moorehead one for a long, long time, and never found the way beyond Hawkins. But you did it! And jervis, the same with Susan Hayward. I struggled and struggled with Mary Brian, trying to fold in Jean Peters, but couldn't find the link to "Broken Lance." Congrats to you both, and to everyone who participated in this GG masterwork! How you create these, matt, is utterly beyond my comprehension.  |
