A good movie is a good movie
A mediocre movie is a mediocre movie
To me saying a movie is so bad its good, is as silly as saying you have a guilty pleasure.

Saying a movie is so bad it's good, isn't saying the movie is ACTUALLY good. That is a misunderstanding by people who criticize the term. A movie that is so bad it's good (in the way I use it) is a movie that is so incompetent that it is entertaining. Showgirls would be more of a guilty pleasure imo, which means it isn't a good movie in a traditional sense but it is fun to watch. I don't split hairs here, but many people do and I will play along if someone asks for guilty pleasure movies. |

Movies YOU Consider "So Bad, They're Good" ?? I don't put any movie in that category - unless it's being featured on MST3K, or its successor Rifftrax. I still remember the first time I saw Mystery Science Theater 3000: Pod People (#4.3). I was literally in pain from laughing so hard! |

I don't doubt that. The main issue with Highlander II is that the script is terrible. The Renegade Cut still has some very good production value and the performances are still fun. Michael Ironside is awesome as always. Russell Mulcahey was still the director and it shows. |
