The popular ex-Celtic star is now in Australia playing for Newcastle, who just defeated Champions-elect Sydney...in Sydney. Joe came on as a second-half sub.

I spotted an ex-Celtic dumpling playing for a Polish team a few weeks ago, but his name (which I only vaguely recognised) has now escaped me. It may reappear though. He's German, I think. Tom Hately, ex-Motherwell and son of you know who, won the Ekstraklasa with Piast Gliwice last season, and now looks considerably less useless than he did at Fir Park.

German, Norwegian, whatever. I was almost right! Thomas Rogne is the Lech Poznan captain no less, and got sent off against Piast, pretty much the only action he performed in the match. And no, I haven't suddenly invented a cure for shite memory syndrome, I looked up all the Polish sides I've seen on Wiki.
