of late it's been cubans... That looks very good NBF I've never had one but would like it. I asked this same question on a different board One person's favorite was reindeer. She was from Sweden Mine changes so often. It can be as simple as a slice of bologna on white bread . Here are some Tuna Grilled cheese Linguica Patty melt No organ meats but pretty much anything else. I like mayo and yellow mustard

I love peanut butter. As a kid, that was my favorite, with tuna coming in a close 2nd. For years, I've preferred PB on toast in the morning, OR on crackers in the afternoon. For "old times' sake," I'll have to have another sammich.
Reindeer sandwich? I'd give it a try, but make no promises.

Tomato and Miracle Whip on white toast with salt and pepper. This is worth eating only if the tomato is in the prime of its ripeness. That way all the flavors blend together nicely.

At home, my hot go-to is Good Seed bread with smoked gouda in the air-fryer, not-preheated for 6 minutes. Dusted with garlic powder, onion powder, and maybe a hot spice.
Cold has 1/4 avocado, eggplant hummus, dusted with garlic powder, onion powder, and maybe a hot spice.

Don't think I ever had a Cuban Sandwich. Bet I would really like them I like all these that have been mentioned: Egg Salad Grilled cheese BLTs pastrami Patty melt Fried bologna with ketchup Regular bologna with mustard But below is my favorite Ruben

Tuna PB and j Grilled cheese and bacon. No tomato.
Salami and cheese Boar's head bologna and cheese. Liverwurst Turkey and cheese with hot sauce.
We always considered BLts as breakfast sandwiches.

In the past I've been a fan of BLTs, Reubens, and especially Patty Melts. My current favorite is turkey on seeded rye with lots of mayo, sharp mustard, and Claussen pickle slices.

I'm typically working, so something light is ideal. I always look for a tuna combination - sweetcorn, rocket, lettuce, tomato, doesn't bother me, I'll eat it all - and as much as I love mayonnaise, I try to spread it more thinly nowadays.
