Gremlins, easily. Ghostbusters is fine but I have had no desire to watch it in the last couple of decades.

Ghostbusters. Honestly Gremlins isn’t that good. You gotta admit it's still better than Ghostbusters 2 I like Gremlins better than Ghostbusters 2, but not by much. I have a soft spot for Ghostbusters 2. In some ways it is even better than the first movie imo. |

Ghostbusters has its moments, but the silliness in it isn't as dark or as subversive as Gremlins.
I went to Ghostbusters one morning when it was first released with a school pal and enjoyed it, but felt like it was missing something. Went to Gremlins the following day and what I felt was missing from Ghostbusters, certainly wasn't missing from Gremlins. It delivered the goods in spades for me.

Ghostbusters is definitely my preferred film. Still like Gremlins a lot though.
