Your poor friend! Reminds me of people with severe peanut allergies. One mistake and they die! Your in California? I am near Modesto Wasyears ago. I grew up in Southern California. I lived in west covina, Victorville, 29 palms and last in Yucca valley until the last day of 2006. my mom died 10-26-2006 of a heart attack in her sleep. We stayed in the house until Dec. 31st. My sister, well she was on meth until a year and a half ago when she got caught by an under cover cop. the drugs told her to move to The greater seattle area so she could be in the next big grunge band. So I moved up there to be closer to her after my mom died. but that basically ruined her. I mentioned i was on SSDI. My sister was my representative payee until april 2017. She was stealing my money to supply her drug habit. Keyword was. luckily she used Facebook messenger over texts so I got her fired after i showed the people at the social security office her excuses on my phone as to why I only had 48 cents for the entire month of april 2017. The 48 cents was left over from march. And they decided i should receive the money myself. I am more than capable. it's my mom that had doubts which led her to be the original payee. I moved out to Pennsylvania, 40 miles outside of Philly august 2017 when my lease for my apartment was up. my friend asked me to so her parents wouldn't have to face foreclosure. her mom is having trouble getting higher paying work because of her age. and her dad also has ADHD, didn't get diagnosed until he was in his 30s in the 80s, so he was a college drop out. he couldn't focus and couldn't figure out why. She had to beg her mom to swallow her pride. I went back out to california last summer. and her mom picked me up from an airport 90 miles away in Newark, New Jersey and she refused to allow me to pay for gas. she has way too much pride to take someone else's money even though she needs it. my Friend's parents take me grocery shopping but it would be easier to get Rosie O'Donnell to sleep with me than it would be it get them to take gas money from me. We lived in redlands for a time. But that isn't as important as supporting you. You've been through so much. I wish I could give you a hug and tell you everything will be okay but that's just too Pollyannaish even for me. My prayers are with you All my best

I made bacon bits recently. 4 thick slices in the air fryer. Then cut them into small pieces with shears, put the pieces in a bag in the freezer. They don't stick to each other, so you can defrost a small quantity in the microwave in a few seconds. How long... what temp? I cook bacon on a rack over a pan in my convection/toaster oven - about 20 minutes at 400F. Flip/rotate after about 12-15 minutes. It's the second best method I know. {The best method is to deep-fry it in bacon fat, but who keeps that much bacon fat around?}

I don't have bacon too often but I've always loved it. I rarely ever have breakfast food and I never have bacon cheeseburgers anymore. But I was going to get some bacon wrapped scallops at the supermarket. But I decided not to

Would you have had to cook the scallops or are they ready to eat?

If they're pre-made, you just put them on a pan and broil them in the oven for 10-15 minutes. Even easier to cook than a frozen pizza.
I have a couple pounds of sea scallops in the freezer. My preferred way to cook them is to saute them in garlic-infused clarified butter + EVOO.
