I don’t but I’ve seen many people do this. I only wear them when I’m out in public and around other people.

No. I put it on when I get where I'm traveling (unless it's home).

If I'm, e.g., heading out to the grocery store down the street, I'll put the mask on at home and wear it during the short drive to the store. I do this because it's easier to check in a large mirror at home that the mask is covering my face properly, than it is to perform the same check in a car mirror.
However, if my destination is some distance away, with no stops along the way, then I mask up when I arrive.

No. But why you might see people wearing them is because they're running multiple errands, and making multiple stops, and if they kept taking their mask off every time they got in the car, that would mean they'd constantly be contaminating their hands and potentially shifting particles in the air when they're adjusting their mask on and off, on and off, on and off.
Might as well leave it on, and not fidget with it.

I doubt people like wearing masks in general (the most obvious reason is it's harder to breathe). so doing that seems largely, if not entirely, pointless especially given the risk of dying from this virus is pretty damn low to begin with. gameboyExactly, and no need to be sorry. but those people are sheep as they blindly believe everything they are told and obsess over something that's probably not that big of a deal in the big picture. masks have become more politics than of any significant benefit, especially if your not close to someone for any length of time.

Same for me.
As for those who wear them in their vehicles.....to each his/her own, I guess.

Sometimes. For multiple reasons.
( Forgot to take it off, too lazy, making stops, a baby in car that you don't see if your outside, in case pulled over/accident etc .. )
But mostly to piss off the people who posted that "hilarious" meme about people being stupid for driving with mask on.

Nobody is supposed to be touching the part that goes over the nose and/or mouth. Regardless of how often they take it on and off

But I see people driving alone in their car on the freeway with a mask pulled up over their nose.
Sorry, those people are dumbasses. It's called anal retention. You can't spread it or catch it while driving alone in your car, windows up or down. And it's not carried in the wind. I see people walking and riding bikes alone outside wearing them. And I see people alone in a room on video chat wearing them. (Do you really think you're gonna catch it through the computer?) Bunch of morons. Just goes to show you how many idiots are out there walking around.

I don't live alone but I never wear one in the house. I can't imagine wearing a mask 24/7. I wonder are there couples who wear them when they're alone together in private?
What about mothers with small children? Little kids are notorious as germ carriers. If her kids have been out to play with other kids, does she wear a mask all day around her children while at home?
I think no. Consensus says people don't wear masks around family. Little kids need to visualize facial expressions to learn how to communicate. And little kids need affection (hugs and kisses) to be healthy emotionally.

I don't agree. Just because some people are immune to this new disease, is no reason to put others at risk. Everyone should socially distance, avoid big crowds, and wear a mask when they can't. Hand washing regularly should have been done even before the Coronavirus. People are dying. And others are left with permanent internal injuries. Not to mention, hospitals are being overwhelmed. Resulting in nurses and doctors dying.

Oh hell no. And even though I see people doing this every day, WHY would anybody do that?

No, I don't. I wouldn't even wear a mask in a public building if it weren't "the Law."
