And claim they have a back injury. Or some other injury. I think this will happen. Did Kershaw really hurt his back? Could be.

No way, no how, zero chance. No player would put their team, their teammates in that world of hurt... by lying about contagious pandemic. I'll say about 12%

I can guarantee how many current players are gonna die from it.
That would be zero.

Listen, Kershaw is made of glass which is why I never draft him in fantasy. The dude could play a Chess game with a friend, and somehow end up on IR because of it.

Baseball is where I truly shine. What is your team name in the basketball league?

You always seem to be rooting for death. No, but if you're going to say something like this... You think some MLB players, in the prime of their lives, are gonna die due to Covid? Has there been a high number of athletes in their 20's and 30's who have already died due to Covid? Cuz as far as I know, that number currently stands at zero. But I know.....fear.....

Funny how some seem to think that with Covid, one of two things happen: either you die, or you’re 100% fine. So as long as it doesn’t kill you, it doesn’t matter at all, right?

Poor guy, sounds like he had a pretty bad flu. At least he didn't die. I remember in the middle of March, there were predictions of millions of deaths in the US by now. The fact that that HASN'T happened should be celebrated as good news. Unfortunately, those of us who bring this up seem to get ridiculed. Why this is I'm not sure.

The fact that that HASN'T happened should be celebrated as good news. Unfortunately, those of us who bring this up seem to get ridiculed. Why this is I'm not sure. To be fair, nobody could understand where the white house came up with those numbers at the time. I saw it as a clear political trick to grossly overestimate the carnage so when it didn't reach those levels they could pretend they did a good job. We're leading the world in cases and deaths either way, not much to celebrate if you ask me. Some of that is the way our government functions in the first place (hard to stop the spread of the virus when every state is using a different playbook), some of it is the contradictory messages from the CDC (i.e., don't wear masks, wait wear masks), and some of it has to be laid at the feet of the POTUS who said everything would be fine and the virus would disappear once the warm weather hit. I don't think anyone was ridiculing you for pointing out MLBers probably won't die; their point was that there is a place between a mild case of the flu and death, which is where many people have ended up-- even professional athletes. Downplaying the severity of the virus won't actually make it less dangerous, no matter how hard you try. I think that was his point.
