Love him or hate him - Barry brought intrigue and excitement to the game.
The last '5 Tool' player - and the greatest '5 Tool Player' ever - the HOF will be coming soon - more and more people are changing their views on Barry and the HOF - Barry received 60.7% of the vote this year - unfair in my eyes how a majority of voter can view a player as 'Hall Worthy' and he still doesn't get in when there's some ham & eggers already in there - but such is life - it will eventually happen.

He does kind of have the physical features doesn't he?

I think juicing is almost as rampant in MLB now as it was in the Bonds era. Have you seen Aaron Judge? How bout Mike Trout's head, does it seem a bit familiar to you? Here's one, look at Brett Gardner when he started his career, and look at his head now. I'm 100% certain that the players of today are juicing just as hard as Bonds, Sosa, or McGwire. Well, maybe not quite THAT hard, but anyone who thinks the game is clean now is delusional. |
