Have you ever dropped anything that broke or made a mess ?
I dropped a soda on the rug at a small store I worked at, an accident, just fell out of my hands, and tried to fix it up so the boss didn't find out. He found out anyway.

Catman dropped a small jar of olives on his foot once. Hurt like hell.
Had the jar hit the floor, it probably would have shattered.

I'm about to drop a bombshell report that will shake up the 2020 election.

My friend spilled a root-beer float all over her plate of food at a Chinese Buffet !
WHY she was having a root-beer float at a Chinese Buffet is a whole other question. <ugh>

Spilled a 2 pound bag of frozen peas in the kitchen. Some may still be lurking in corners to this day !

A glass at a bar. It was embarrassing. The whole place was looking at me.

My Mom and I were in the kitchen, and I knocked an aerosol can of whipped cream off of the counter. The protective cap was off, and the impact when it hit the floor, must have jammed the nozzle in an open position. The velocity with which it spun was astonishing! The can seemed to disappear, as a unit. It became a whirling mass-in-motion. It was like something out of Sci-Fi. The volume of whipped cream in the can, was equally astonishing. We were ankle-deep in whipped cream that covered the entire area; kitchen baseboards, chair/table legs, our feet, the carpet in the hallway, and some "splats" up the hallway wall. We couldn't, immediately, ROFL ... because the floor was full of whipped cream. However, we were able to laugh our way through clean up, then have some wine. We sent out for pizza.

Catman recalls a time when he saw a sweet little old lady shopping for glassware. As she picked up one glass, it slipped out of her hand, bounced three times, and shattered. And this sweet little old lady said, "Oh SHIT!"

not an incident of dropping .. more a train of thought story... Motel with kitchen equipment, dishes etc and a dishwasher included. All set to wash and grabbed the packet of soap under the sink. After a bit of water entry and dish washerly agitation SUDS all over the room. Shades of the whipped cream story but kinda not because the management had to be told about it so it could be cleaned up and they were not happy that a staff member had left laundry soap instead of dishwasher detergent! Sort of funny in retrospect but then not so much. No wine OR pizza either

I once dropped a hint that broke someoneβs heart. You could say I made a mess of it.

i dropped a thing with a sharp edge on hand. then got stitches on hand, actally on the thumb.
however getting stitches is beside the point, so i don't know why i mentioned it. Technically it made a mess, because of blood.

Enigma and Autumn, you are not a klutz!
But, you did break the law ... of gravity. "You have the right to remain silent. Anything you say can, and will, be used against you...."
