Prussian militarism to Nazism. It's an interesting progression.
But Prussia was the old imperial bastion of Germany and actually was the biggest obstacle to Hitler and the Nazi's domination of Germany. Yes, the nobles like Hindenburg despised the Bohemian Corporal because he wasn't from their class. Hitler's first members of the Nazi Party, when it was still the Worker's Party were filled largely with violent criminals. When he cleaned house in the NoLK and afterward, he even replaced many of his loyal followers (since the Putsch and before) who weren't willing to invade other nations. One of the Kaiser's nephews or something died while invading France. When Hitler saw that Germany heavily mourned him, he quickly banned any formal noble from serving in fear of a restoration.

They would only sell vanilla. Well, it was Vanilla Ice who rapped: "Steppin' so hard like a German Nazi."
