As was stated, I do think that especially now, they're a bit of a necessary evil.

I haven't ordered much from them, but they seem to be all right.

I haven't used them since '17. I find better deals on ebay.

Amazon genie is not going back in its bottle after 2020. Now we'll see how proactive they are once they realize just how reliant the world is on their being.

Ordered from them 3 times. No problems and arrived on time.

I voted for the second option Love Them.
Their service is really getting hard to beat. For example, I ordered a new audio CD on the day it was released (Friday July 24th). My package arrived yesterday (Monday July 27th) with standard shipping!
That said, there have been a few instances over the years where product has arrived damaged and I've had to return it. But they have always promptly sent a replacement, and there have never been any problems with the second shipment.

Good company to do business with.
It has never produced a dividend, has only been in profit for the last four or five years and I expect it to come down with a bump pretty soon. So I won't invest in it, but will take advantage of it while it is still around.

Evil. I generally refuse to do business with them unless I absolutely can’t find what I need elsewhere - which has only been twice in the last several years.
I suppose the experience was okay. No real complaints about delivery time anything.

Amazon is a monopoly and it violates anti-trust laws. It also owns IMDb and I'm still pissed about them closing the message boards. Ah, yeah. Forgot about that.

I don't use them often, but when I do I have generally found them satisfactory. I live in Ireland, so delivery times can be somewhat protracted.

You forgot to add the option: "Evil, but useful." That would've been my choice.

My only problem is: why can't they let one know the shipping method before purchase? It shouldn't matter where the item comes from, there should be something that says: USPS, FedEx, UPS. As someone with a business I would love to order more, but we have a PO Box. And Amazon ships to whichever address is listed first. If I put down the street address & it ships USPS-we don't get it...period. I put down the PO Box, we have to wait until Saturdays to go & get anything that doesn't fit in our box.
