That's a very high rate. Twelve percent! They had 100 people attend their wedding, and the couple ended up with COVID as did 10 guests. Twelve people in total. Yet there are still people thinking about the 1% .

Many such idiots have also done the same in India. About 70 km from my home a couple invited 130 guests, and 92 got infected. The bridegroom died just 3 days after his marriage. He was the one who spread it to his guests.

Yet there are still people thinking about the 1% . I believe that church is the one in Dirty Harry where the priest is on the church steps and the perp shoots at him. I've been there. It is beautiful. I went to Confession there once. After I saw the movie I never dawdled on the steps. BTW this same phenomenon is happening with funerals. It would be hard not to say goodbye to a loved one. Nor have your wedding without a celebration. But these are different times. We have to distance

That's such an extremely high infection rate,...92 out of 130? Three days. How tragic.

That's such an extremely high infection rate,...92 out of 130? Three days. How tragic. The bridegroom had fever since he returned from a big city (NCR Delhi) but he didn't get himself tested for Corona. His family did advise him but he kept saying it was just season fever due to change of weather because he had just travelled from hot Delhi to his small town where it was raining. I think by the time of marriage not just him but probably his close family members had also been infected including his father, mother and cousins. So there was more than one source of infection for guests but it was still terribly unethical for the family to invite so many people or even go ahead with the marriage. Police did lodge a FIR against groom's father for hosting the marriage function but damage had already been done.

No offense but infection rate means nothing as it's the death percentage is what ultimately matters. when we claim 1-2% TOPS (I heard one person say "0.04% death rate for those under the age of 70" earlier this month) we are referring to death rate, NOT infection rate because it's obvious the infection rate is much higher than the death rate.
but no one really cares about infection rate (unless they are into fear-mongering like those on the left are) as it's the death rate that counts and in this regard, like I always say... why fear a virus that only has a small chance to kill you? ; this is why I say society is massively over-reacting to the virus as some treat it like it's some hardcore plague and it's not even close as it's actually closer to common flu level of deaths than it is some major plague like the Spanish Flu for example where some claim 50 million died (I heard some claim up to 100 million), so call it 10mil+ to be conservative and COVID-19 is not even slightly close to that figure as COVID-19 deaths worldwide are about 600k right now. it's laughable how easily people just fall inline and believe the lying media and obsess over face masks etc.
but this pretty much sums COVID-19 up in that it's more about politics than anything else...

It sounds like god's punishment for a non-consecrated marriage.
Don't tell me, San Francisco, it was two gay males, right? Dumbasses.
The Queer God struck those idiots down for playing the straight man's game. Read what Enigma said, it must have been the ghost of the Scorpio Killer.
