I certainly try to. I probably remember to use them 90-95% of the time. I wish more people did.

Yes. I'd have to make an effort to not use it. It's long been an automatic thing for me.

your Car? Even when no one is around? Yes, always. When I was learning (which wasn't that long ago, I didn't learn to drive until I was well into my late 30s), every time I missed using the indicator the instructor would just mildly ask "keeping it a secret, are we?" It was annoying in a funny kind of way, especially when she started keeping score. But it did make it stick, to this day I use the indicator every single time.

I use the turn signal probably 99% of the time. Some times if I'm switching lanes, or making a turn and there is no other vehicle close by, I'll switch lanes or turn without signaling.

Yes...

...unless I feel I'm being tailed.

Yes, I almost always use it (even when nobody else is around) simply out of habit.
I too wish more people would use it when changing lanes, but ESPECIALLY when it comes to roundabouts. You basically have to completely stop at any roundabout, even when it doesn't seem as if anyone's going to be turning, because you can't trust that people who're not indicating won't be turning (yet at the same time, some people indicate like they're turning, but go straight ahead/straight through) - it's really frustrating (not to mention dangerous).

If you tell others what you are about to do it gives them a chance to cut in front of you or pass you before you are ready to cut them off.
You don't always see other cars, so signalling only gives the other car a head start of you, often unexpected because they aren't in your line of vision.

Always. Even if there are no vehicles behind me to notice, it's good to make it standard practice.
