Despite the salt, fat, and the fact that I eat way too much and eat the skin, I have to get them at times. Costco has large ones for $5. Ours used to always undercook them, so I either wouldn't get them or cooked them for another half hour. But now they are pull-apart wonderful. My attack is legs first. Then usually wings then thighs, unless it pulls apart easily - then thighs before wings. I put the rest away for use the next couple of days. Going to have some with breakfast hash browns.

Definitely have to be careful of bloodiness near the bone with most all brands of them, but I admit to being a hopeless addict of rotisserie skin. The Sam's Club ones have the yummiest, in my opinion.

Broth, made from the carcass of a Costco rotisserie chicken, is a great base for chicken soup. I think that it's a matter of the blend of herbs/spices that they use to baste the birds, during the rotisserie process.
Eat your heart out, Colonel Sanders!
