We all know ballparks, unlike the buildings of other sports, have a uniqueness to them.
What unique features or qualities would you put into a ballpark?
Low fences for more ground rule doubles?
Huge foul territory to help the pitchers?
Deep fences for less homeruns?
Something unique to a city (ie: the apple from Shea Stadium/Citifield)?
Anyone have any cool ideas to make a ballpark stand out?

Moats with piranha in front of the foul left and right field walls, sand traps closer to the bases.

Flag poles/other crap in the outfield like in the olden days.
A giant wall that makes the green monster in Boston look like a tiny fence.

behind the fence will be a large swimming pool. and a tiki hut. In reference to your video clip, Crosley Field also had a large swimming pool for a time. Well, maybe more like a lake..... 1937 Ohio River flood - Crosley field home plate was 21' under water.

Hurdles on the baselines. Fans in the front row get to shoot paintballs at baserunners. Animals grazing in the outfield. Barnyard, savannah or jungle, it varies.

No seats. You wanna watch a ballgame at my park, youโll stand. "Shea Bridge" at Citi Field is a great vantage point for the entire field (except the warning track in right and center field) and it's just steps from one of the two beer gardens at the stadium. It's one of my batting practice landing spots, standing up, soaking in the sun, enjoying a nice coldish beer and watching the teams warm up.
