Red Onions from a Thompson farms in Bakersfield ca can cause salmonella. How do I know if mine are from this farm?
I bought some on august 1st and the recall began on july 31st. Do you think my onions are safe or just toss them? Thanks

This is the first that I've heard of it ... and, red onions are my favorite.
Did you buy them from a supermarket? I think that Safeway/Lucky have their own produce farms, although they may be in Bakersfield.
I buy my produce, mostly, from 3 neighborhood independent markets. I won't buy, again, before asking where the red onions come from.
Thanks for the heads-up.

Seems like mine would be safe but I am leary. I have enough intestine problems as is .lol
