Well now I know where Cyndi Lauper started her stellar movie career as an Oscar winning actress. This was an odd one. It plays out like Ghostbusters meets Indiana Jones. That still sounds like a cool premise but this is from the future director of Dunston Checks In, The Beauty and the Beautician, and License to Wed. There are a few chuckles to be had but you gotta wait for them. Most of it comes from Peter Falk and Jeff Goldblum. 4/10.

I happen to like the film... Sure it isn't a masterpiece, and I don't think it was ever intended to be one... But it's one of those nice Popcorn/Guilty Pleasure type flicks, that most people might enjoy watching every once in a while, if they are looking for something different to watch than repeating some of those found on their usual worn out top 100 type lists...
6/10

The way that Lauper talks in this makes me wonder if Arleen Sorkin saw it on HBO whilst brainstorming about what Harley Quinn should sound like.
