Might be the best show on TV right now.

I just saw it. Without spoiling anything, it asks a lot of important questions that I haven't seen very often (or at all) in a fictional medium: "Why would a cop treat a gay rape different than if it happened between a man and a woman?"; "Are people experimenting with their sexuality obliged to tell the person they're having sex with?"; "What kind of things would a woman consider to be non-consensual, and would a man not draw the same line as her?"; "Why do some people pretend to be victims of assault, and what do they do with their lives after their lie has been exposed?". Unfortunately, all of this is presented with supporting and even guest characters. The protagonist (Arabella) is by no means a badly-written character and her story arcs are by no means uninteresting (in fact, the narrative structure of the finale is very creative), but following her (badly-paced) journey is less compelling compared to the rest. The humor is hit-or-miss and, while there are well-directed and well-edited moments, the cinematography in most episodes is boring. I know they're going for a realistic atmosphere, but you can generate raw emotions with better imagery than this.
