Yeah, Pamelyn Ferdin was very active back in the day. Interesting that she was in one of the all-time sleazy exploitation horror flicks: The Toolbox Murders (1978).
The audition for the Omen child was apparently that Richard Donner told him to kick him as hard as he could in the shin and the kid got all excited and really went at it and had to be held back to stop. That's when they knew they had found the right devil child.
Pamelyn Ferdin was almost Regan in the Exorcist--I think they even did a makeup test. She might have been passed over because she had already done an occult movie or two.
