I see nothing wrong with it. It's a fat woman in Wonder Woman cosplay. It's another example of trying to take the sexiness and athleticism out of female characters. “Another example”? What are some other examples? I’m legitimately curious.

Added to She-Hulk. The thing that I think they aren't understanding is that comic book strength is magic. You don't have to be overly muscular to be strong. Then you have what they did to characters like Glimmer on the Netflix She-ra show.

In all seriousness though, who is that supposed to be? Why is she purple? Why does she have African American facial features? Why does she have a soccer mom physique?
Is that meant to be the same Princess Diana Wonder Woman? Or it some alternate version?

I’ve learned that apparently, the artist who drew that cover draws a lot of art of aliens that are supposed to have realistic looking human features, so I guess the woman on that cover is supposed to be like an alien who dresses up as Wonder Woman?

I would have assumed it was a sort of positive and inspirational statement, that it's not Diana but just some random woman, and that's the point that any woman, all women can/are Wonder Woman so to speak, I don't know nor do I really care, I find it amusing, I also wouldn't care if they made a comic with Diana that looks like that, so long as the male characters and other female characters also look similar, remove the sexualisation and body building physiques and just have less spectacular looking characters for once, doubt it would sell much but so long as it was fair across the board I could live with them doing a series with that style.

She looks as if she fused with Amethyst from Steven Universe(Cartoon Network).

Does that drawing look like Wonder Woman? Who cares? Besides really stupid people I mean. Probably fans of Wonder Woman, since that isn't Wonder Woman in any way.

The funny part is that she could have just drawn herself in a Wonder Woman costume.
Also, looking at her art, the women don't generally have that body type.
