Wonderful stuff. the last two frames last night right before the interview are definitely worth watching. He was at the top of his game. Think he does a lot of this to piss Barry Hearn off and to divert and amuse himself. He is right about the quality of lesser players though, much poorer than it was 20 years ago.

Think he does a lot of this to piss Barry Hearn off and to divert and amuse himself. I think that's exactly it - "Really can't be bothered playing, not arsed if I win or lose, the venue is crap, all the young players are rubbish..." 😂 Although yeah, he probably has a point - Higgins obviously still has the talent getting his 147 but Hearn's going to struggle to market the game with a bloated old balding former match fixer! Fresh blood definitely needed...

I want Neal Robertson to win.
Have a soft spot for him since I saw him a few years ago one day and he was potting absolutely everything.. at any distance and degree of difficulty.
Haven’t watched him in this tournament yet though.
I reckon Williams could beat Ronnie. Both looking in good nick, but Williams is more focussed I think.

I watched a bit last night. Ronnie looked pretty good, although I can see where his frustration with his game comes from - e.g. missed a really simple blue near the end.
Mark Williams not too happy with his comments though. I think it's fair enough to say I couldn't think of another sport where the top player basically rubbished the entire sport!

Sometimes I get the feeling Ronnie lets himself get behind in games just to give himself a challenge.

I would love to see O'Sullivan play just one. I grew up playing pool, even since I could see over a table. Been playing snooker since I was 20. And Ronnie is the greatest person with a cue ever.

What's happened to Hazel Irvine this year?
Has she been assessed as COVID-19 high risk? Or has the BBC deemed her patter with the ever expanding John Parrot unacceptable pre-watershed?

Most naturally gifted certainly but his own attitude and behaviour prevented him having the best all round game I think.

I think I heard she was in NZ looking after a family member. Seema Jaswal is a good replacement. Charming lass and v. pretty:
