Black Mirror. I had ha hopes for a modern version of Twilight Zone or Outer Limits, but the episode with the British PM blackmailed to have sex with a pig was just disgusting und implausible. Carnivale. To be honest that's my least favorite episode of Black Mirror. I haven't seen the last season though. There are plenty of good ones ahead though.

Interesting. I felt season 1 was outstanding and the middle seasons dipped in quality, although the last season was great. What about it let you down?

Interesting. I felt season 1 was outstanding and the middle seasons dipped in quality, although the last season was great. What about it let you down? I liked the first season. I'd say the pilot episode is one of best episodes of TV I've seen and Rami Malek is great. But I hated the "fight club" twist. I felt that the story would've been more interesting without it. I watched a few episodes of season 2 but I lost interest.

Jodie Whittaker’s Doctor Who. I don’t even think it’s her fault the new series is bad. Chibnall just isn’t a good show runner and I don’t think understands Who at all. The first episode she was in was mildly interesting, but everything after that just felt nothing like Doctor Who. I kept watching until the very end of her first season. After it I knew I was done.
I really miss Russell T Davies as show runner. I know a lot of people didn’t like him much either, but I felt like once he left honestly Doctor Who was never the same.

I loved Fleabag. Then I found out that Phoebe Waller-Bridge, who created that show, had created another one called Killing Eve. It seemed a lot of people really loved Killing Eve, and the plot intrigued me. I made it through most of the first season before quitting. It wasn't terrible, but I just didn't think it was very good. The suspense for me went out the window with how series 1 ended... Not sure if I'll keep watching.

Twin Peaks The Return, which probably would have been great if cut down to 10 episodes, watching it was a drag

'Sliders,' after it came back from its first season hiatus. The network must have demanded that they omit the more overt comic aspects of the show, which was a big part of the appeal for me.

Black Mirror, Killing Eve, Mr. Robot, Westworld... Westworld...really?! I only watched the first four episodes, I found the plot interesting, but the protagonist is extremely boring, all the supporting characters are more interesting than Dolores, I would have liked the series more if it was focused on Maeve.

I did the same thing with Hell on Wheels. Weird. I was so into season one and two but quit in season 3. I went from binge watching it to barely getting through an episode out of obligation and then forgetting about it. Hard to remember all the details now, but i remember thinking by the season 2 finale that there was absolutely no reason for Bohannon to still be working for the railroad. Yes, agree, but the S3 premiere was one of the best episodes of television ever, the rest of that season was a disappointment and I don't think I finished it.

Stranger Things and Mr Robot both disappointed me for basically the same reason - both pastiche nostalgia fests with no identity.
The first season of Westworld was amazing, then it immediately went downhill.

None.
I have never been very excited about a TV show that then let me down.
However, I have been very excited about further seasons of TV shows that definitely let me down. I was very excited for the final season of Dexter and the less said about that season the better.
Mindhunters: Season 2 was also disappointing.

ST Discovery Enterprise In Search of ... reboot Forensic Files II The Tick (both series) GLOW (original) Westworld I actually liked GLOW season one. Season two sucked and it was apparent season 3 was just a mouth piece for current events. SJW women’s rights episodes.

Season two sucked and it was apparent season 3 was just a mouth piece for current events. SJW women’s rights episodes. The Netflix version of GLOW was fantastic, loved every season. They do flirt with women's rights but it wasn't overbearing, I mean it is a show about women wrestlers so you should expect some feminist attitude about it, but it's also has a lot of gratuitous nudity and the main male character is not a feminist and not portrayed as a bad person. For contrast, watch any new show on CW, it's all girl power and men bad unless they are effeminate. And even that isn't new. A fair bit of the pulp on SyFy for the last 20 years had effeminate men as main characters, SG Atlantis, Eureka, Killjoys, W13. I was talking about the original, 1980's GLOW. I wanted to like it and back in the 80's I probably would have because I was a teenager but I couldn't get into it.
